went back home today to sort out the vast amount of cd's I'm having stored (about half my collection/1350/3000 i reckon).

In my old room I stumbled across an old bag filled with different papers. including one envelope with about 36 letters form her. I could've sworn I'd thrown them all out in a fit of rage, but I must never have gotten around to it.

So now they lie here on my desk. 36 letters, notes, pictured. A perfect timeline over a friendship turning into a crush turning into a relationship turning into lack of trust turning into a bitter break-up.

I really want to read them all, I mean, I love this kind of time document (the oldest are 8(!) years old.
I just don't know what I want to achieve from reading them? Most likely they bring me down for the rest of the evening/tomorrow where I'll wallow in self pity which is soooooo fucked up because I have a girlfriend now.

Who am i fucking kidding, I will read them all tonight :P

Self pity update to come.

Oh fuck me!

Today I found out that Oceansize are doing a biffy and playing all their albums in October in Manchester. So of course I bought tickets. After work I went to a Global Contact meeting to arrange for saturdays reunion party and to check out the fall seminar.

turns out the meeting are for people who wants to LEAD the fucking seminar and somehow I volunteered - effectively meaning that Oceansize are no-go. *sad fucking face*

To make matters worse, one of the fascilitators in the GC office remembered that i, while being very drunk at the seminar, said I would help arrange the Fair Fælled Festival (a one day music festival in a copenhagen park with the goal of raising awareness of Fair Trade) and would try to get some bands for that. well HE remembered, and before I could object I was presented to the guy who essentially runs the festival and we agreed to meet up and see how I could help.

OK lets take a look a this:
I have the Fair trade pirates sailing trip around denmark in June which means we'll have to have 4/5 meetings before to arrange.
Fair Fælled Music festival in August which will require 1-3 meetings
Fall Seminar in October which will require fucking dozens of meeting, preparation, crying and breaking down.

Oh Fuck you Troels!

(I'm actually looking forward to all of these. It's gonna be fun and it looks awesome on my CV)

Hehe I should've known that I'd have to pay for my good fortune and great mood the last couple of das in some way, and today's apparently the time.

I just found out that all of my University applications got rejected. Ouch.

On top of that, I have to spend A WHOLE YEAR reading up on history and redo the exam as it was this one that held me back. motherfucker.

In a way kinda nice, 'cause now I'll maybe have some time for travelling. OH NO WAIT, I have to use that year fucking reading up on History. fuck.

If I have any good luck in my life, they'll accept me as a self studying student so that I can "just" read up on 3 years of history and then take the exam.

cock cock cock cock cock.

Today have been.....hmmm well uneventful at best really.

It's been raining throughout the day, and since it's sunday most stores are closed.
It's quite nice actually, I've had a lot of time to get some reading done and the oppertunity to listen to some more music and really just to be bored, which is kinda nice actually.

Last nights Biffy concert where so-so at best. The Matches did their best to ruin the evening but Blood Red Shoes were absolutely stunning!
There's just something about a woman with a guitar.....anyways I'm seriously in love with her i think ;)

Biffy played the EXACT same set as they did in Sheffield, the in-between song banter and alternative playing on some of the songs were the same too so it was actually quite disappointing, a 3/6 at best. the bad sound and guitar malfuntions didn't help matters either. hmmmmm

I'm trying hard to convince myself that Southampton will be better, but I somehow doubt it. still Blood Red Shoes are playing, and that's really all the reason I need to go.

I have no idea what I'm gonna do tonight, but if the weather clears up i guess I'm gona try to find some food somewhere and maybe call it an early night. didn't get to much sleep last night as the firealarm went of twice.

I slept in today which was nice and tried to see some of the city, but apperently they're quite big on this "football" game overhere and there's supposed to be a big game, a qualifier for some tournament next year so that's kind of a big deal, and there's loads of people in the streets - to many actually... I might look this "football" game up when i come home, 'cause it seems like it pretty big overhere, with a national league and everything.

I thought I had the room to myself for the night, but more people have checked in during the day - especially because I thought I was staying in an all male room, and so far to girls have moved in.....can really complain now can you...;)

not much more to say, tried to recieve my tickets from the box office today and went to the venue around 11 only to find out that the box office didn't open until 12, wandered around and went back at 12 only to be told, that internet purchases isn't retrieved until 19 hmmm.

well I guess I got some kind of trip out of it.
I'm back at the hostel now, kicking back, reading and listening to the new Radiohead (which is brilliant AND free!).

kind of looking forward to the show tonight, especially Blood Red Shoes for obvious reasons.

Not a lot to say about today really.
As i've wrote before, the concert last night was pretty good.

I left early and got on the right train and everything. had to wait a bit in Bristol for the connecter train to Cardiff but it worked out perfectly.
The Hostel was easy to find and looks great. good service, nice rooms and everything (then again, I don't really have a lot to compere with, but still...)

I just had a look through my tickets and booking reservations, and to my horror I realized that I actually never got my ticket to the Bristol concert (fuck you seetickets! no really, FUCK YOU!), so there's really no point in me going to Bristol to stay.
so I've decided to stay 2 extra days in Cardiff and just really relax and treat it as a real holiday (uuuuhh the word "holiday" send shivers down my spine), I reckon it'll be nice just to chill out for a couple of days, read, relax and everything!

I#ve just settled in here, but I think I might try to find a pub soon and maybe buy some food to prepare in the kitchen here.

oh I promised some short record reviews, so here goes:
Kent - Tilbaka till samtidan. - Not very Kent-ish and not very good at all 2/6
The Floor Is Made Of Lava - All Juice No Pulp. - Deja vu struck me when I listened to this, I've heard it all before - just better

Stay safe out there!

just a quick update.
just came back from the gig. Matches were awful so I'm not too pleased with the fact that I'll see them4 more times...
forward Russia were absolutely stunning, so glad I finally got to see them live.
biffy were on form tonight but too many semi violent mosh pits did theirs to ruin a good evening sadly.
They also played too much new material and that didn't help either. Overall a 4/6 I think.

Oh yeah, it was great meeting jess, she's really a sweet girl.
I'm in bed now reading. The new slash bio whilst drinking a Guinness...ah the good life

so I've finally arrived in Sheffield and settled down in my hotel.
yesterday with Paul was great because we mainly just hung out, and looked at my itinerary.
the traintravel to Sheffield was shorter than I thought but nice nonetheless, had a chance to read a little and
listen to some new music (by the way, the new kent and the floor is made of lava albums both suck :()
I just took a shower in my room and I'm getting ready to explore a bit before meeting jess at 7 and then head to why is all Is about, the biffy gig

Everything is still very good.

By the way, I'm writing this on my iPod touch, how cool is that!

*copied from my real life journal*

The Flight went as planned, nice and easy with the best take-off and landing i've yet experienced.
The day, however, started off pretty bad.
my ipod had chosen to delete itself and i wasn't able to get it to work in time for my departure, so i'm stuck with a shuffle filled with music i don't really like and a set of broken earphones.

I pray that Paul can help me getting the Ipod up and running again, otherwise tomorrows train journey to sheffield could be very long indeed.

I'm writing this from "The World's End" pub just by camden station, which have become a recurring element in my trips to London. They're playing A Perfect Circle, I'm drinking Guinness (beer of the day) and I'm doing great.

Later I'll go to Amersham to stay with Paul. I'm kinda looking forward to it, because last time I went to London I pretty much saw everything I wanted.
It's also quite tiresome to carry this big backpack around, so I'm looking forward to crashing in a nice sofa at some point, getting my head around Sheffield tomorrow.

I'm most likely to meet up with a girl called Jess for the concert and it's always nice with some company, she seems nice as well.

*Update*

I'm in Amersham now with Paul. He's making dinner, I'm writing this.
After I finished my pint at "The Worlds End" I was approached by a, well I think he was homeless, man, who saw my backpack and started talking about his journeys when he was young. really great to get some stories and talking to unknown different people I think.

Oh yeah, I'm most likely to get my Ipod working again, but I'm not too bothered 'cause I just bought an Ipod Touch ;) with internet access? oh yeah baby!

this is great, because most of the hotel's and hostels i'll be staying at will have Wifi so i'm able to go online via that.

I'm off for dinner!

So I'm getting ready to, I've checked my bags twice and it seems that everything I need is there so that's great.
All I have to do now is actually catching my plane, but I'm somewhat certain I'll do so.

I've a strange feeling of excitement and fear, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be great.
I've made some certain rules for myself on this trip.

1. don't eat anything you can get at home (i.e. no McDonalds, Burgerking, KFC etc.)
2. I've packed my iPod with new music I haven't yet had the chance to listen. I have to do so, and write a small review - everyday.
3. If possible, update this blog at least once a day
4. I can't just sit around at the hostel/hotel - I have to experience something in each town
5. Have a new drink/beer every day (should be easy)
6. Only have my cell on for 20 minuttes each day
7. Write enough material for a whole new album for the new band
8. Not worry about a single thing, but accept the obstacles I'm most likely to face

Hmm....interesting....
Anyway, tomorrow I'll make my way to copenhagen airport and travel to London.
There I'll spend most of the day, before taking the tube to Amersham and stay with Paul, going over whatever questions I might have, listen to music and generally just kicking back and enjoy the company.

The day after, the real trip starts (insert scary music).

anyways, if you read this, or the following posts, be sure to comment on the posts, would be cool to have some feedback - even if it's dumbass rants!

I'll be back with an update tomorrow when i land at paul's or earlier - who knows.

Oh yeah before I go. I've chosen to write in english so my english friends can read it too and because I'm all international and shit.....I'm sure you'll cope
